This is the ultimate (and actually the only) way to test if the deodorant actually doesn’t kill your stink. So the only way to know if our deodorant will eat your particular brand of stink is to do the following test: 1. Take a bath/shower before bed and do not apply any deodorant. 2. When you wake up in the morning do not bathe and do not apply any deo BUT… 3. Try to break a bit of a sweat. I recommend putting on a sweater or gown and then drinking a hot cup of tea/coffee. THEN: go into to the bathroom and undress on the top half of your body (NB: including your bra). Make sure you stink. Then apply our deodorant all over your armpits - making sure to capture all the patches of skin that are sweaty. The deodorant should totally neutralise the body odour smell within 60 seconds. Smell yourself again after 2 minutes. If you still stink of SWEAT then you can be sure that the deodorant does not work for your particular brand of shtünk and sweat. If you DO NOT stink (which is most likely because, science) then we know you need to treat your bra’s, towels, tops, and investigate your gut!

This is very, very, likely because of the items of clothing you are wearing! Bacteria lodges itself into the fibres of certain fabrics. Our deodorant won’t work if there is odour-causing bacteria living inside the armpit fabric of your clothing. We recommend using out Laundry Spray to kill deal with the bacteria. What you can also try is to vigorously treat it with a thick paste made of bicarb and water. Pretreat the patch of fabric by wetting it and then pouring on a generous layer of bicarb. Let it sit for about an hour and then chuck in the wash as normal. Personally, I need to repeat this once every 6-8 months. After washing, if you can put it in the sun - even better. Do this to the underarm portion of all tops (even sleeveless) and, most NB, bra’s and towels!! Using a conventional detergent will not work!! You need like for like. Bicarb will do the job correctly. Returns Opened personal hygiene products cannot be returned for refund or exchange unless they are defective. Unopened products may be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided they are returned unused, unopened, and in original resalable condition. Courier costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer, and original delivery fees are non-refundable. Refunds for returned items will only be processed once the returned goods have been received and inspected. A skin reaction, sensitivity, irritation, or variation in effectiveness — including between different scents — does not constitute a defect, as all ingredients and usage guidance are clearly disclosed prior to purchase. For purposes of the CPA, a “defect” refers to a material manufacturing fault that renders the product unsafe or unusable for its intended purpose. Individual skin sensitivity, personal reaction, texture variation, fragrance preference, graininess, or variation in consistency due to natural ingredients do not constitute a defect. In terms of Section 56 of the CPA, consumers have a six-month implied warranty period from the date of delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe, or not fit for their intended purpose. After six months, this statutory right falls away. The CPA does not provide for change-of-mind returns, nor does it extend the implied warranty beyond six months. Original delivery fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a confirmed defect.   Change-of-Mind Returns and Exchanges Because our deodorants are personal hygiene products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges where a customer simply changes their mind or does not prefer a particular scent, texture, consistency, or fragrance profile. Scent preference, texture preference, or personal expectations of the product do not constitute a defect. Where a product is unused, unopened, and in its original resalable condition, we may, at our sole discretion, permit an exchange as a goodwill gesture. In such cases, the customer will be responsible for all courier costs associated with the exchange, including both the return of the original product and delivery of the replacement product. We reserve the right to decline exchanges where packaging has been opened, used, tampered with, or where the product cannot be resold for hygiene reasons. Nothing in this policy limits a consumer’s rights under the Consumer Protection Act in respect of goods that are defective, unsafe, or not fit for their intended purpose.     Order Cancellation Customers may request cancellation of an order before it has been dispatched by contacting our support team as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been processed or shipped, we will cancel the order and issue a refund to the original payment method. Once an order has been processed and dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled. If a customer no longer wishes to keep the product after dispatch, the order will need to be returned to us in accordance with our returns policy. SmellMaiPits should not stain clothing more than a typical deodorant. If you are noticing oily marks on clothing, it is usually a sign that too much product is being applied. Only a small amount is needed. To treat marks on clothing, you can pre-treat the area with a paste made from bicarbonate of soda and water, or use a bar soap such as Sunlight soap. Work the soap into the fabric, leave for a period of time, and then wash as normal.

Because our deodorant is made from natural ingredients, the texture can sometimes change over time or in different temperatures. You may occasionally notice that the deodorant feels slightly crumbly or has small granules — this is normal and is caused by natural ingredients settling or firming up, and it does not affect how well the deodorant works. To apply smoothly, hold the deodorant against your underarm for a few seconds to allow your body heat to soften it, then apply one to two gentle swipes. Less is more. If the deodorant feels too firm or dry, you can leave it in a slightly warmer room for a short period, or add a very small drop of oil to the surface and allow it to absorb overnight. If the deodorant becomes too soft, store it in a cooler place for a short time. If it becomes too firm, leave it in a slightly warmer room before use.

Because our deodorants are made from 100% natural ingredients, the colour can vary slightly from batch to batch and season to season. This is mainly due to natural variations in ingredients such as beeswax, kaolin clay, and essential oils.
